Planet Nourish

The Brief

Planet Nourish approached Vipra Technology with the request to design the prototype of their first-ever mobile application alongside a user journey. This in turn helped shape a couple of pitch decks for fundraising activities and communicating D&I initiatives. After a successful round of pitching, Planet Nourish then requested a no-code platform to get the programme running while they fundraise to develop the application.

Planet Nourish is a South-Asian-tailored digital healthcare service that aims to tackle Type 2 Diabetes and other diet-related illnesses through behavioural change. It has several programmes that entail coaching & support, chef-led cooking sessions, a community, monitoring & evaluation, as well as learning & training material.

The Solution

From the extensive user research provided by Planet Nourish, as well as the interviews & workshops conducted by Vipra’s UX team, a set of problems were defined and then prioritised. Extra client meetings & usability testing sessions were factored in to sign off on UX & UI decisions.

The project was split into three phases;

  • Phase 1 was all about developing an extensive user journey & designing the app prototype.
  • In phase 2, we curated and designed a number of pitch decks as well as other digital content.
  • Lastly, phase 3 focused on designing and developing a no-code platform for Planet Nourish. This is where the team can run the cohorts, share learning materials & resources, & where users can engage with the programme and interact with each other as well as the Planet Nourish team.

The Results

A mobile app prototype & web platform that combine a community feed, resources repository, health tracking & meal planning – among a number of other features – all in one place.

Vipra Technology has continued to support Planet Nourish since the launch of their platform and throughout their fundraising journey.
